Meet Melissa Ohden – ABORTION SURVIVOR

And living testament to the blessing of adoption!!

In 1977, Melissa miraculously survived an abortion procedure and was adopted into a loving family. She gives a face to the millions of lives lost through abortion and the impact it has on future generations.
Parents are also invited to come hear her share her powerful story as she brings a message of hope, healing, and forgiveness to the students of Bishop Manogue Catholic High School.

From Student Leadership:

The BMCHS Ambassador program is now underway. If you love being a Miner, this program is for you. Student ambassadors are the faces of Bishop Manogue who are willing to share their Miner pride. They will attend grade and middle school visits, give campus tours, host events, and help new and transfer students adjust to life here at BMCHS. We are now accepting applications for all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. Please see Mrs. Huggins in B202 if you are interested. Don’t delay; the last day to apply is February 3rd.

LET’S PACK THE HOUSE!

“Broadway Bits”—directed by Janet Lazarus and featuring our very own super-talented BMCHS students Ashley Laughlin, James French and Charlie Manoukian—is donating half the box office of their Saturday, February 4, 7:30 pm performance to our Tuition Assistance Program. You’ll love the show, and at the same time help some deserving students become part of the Bishop Manogue Family. Pick up a flyer in the office, or visit the website for all details.

FROM CAMPUS MINISTRY:

All of the schools in the diocese are teaming up to help out Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada during Catholic Schools Week. We are asking you to bring in HYGIENE PACKS to the Campus ministry office. They may contain the following: Shampoo, Soap, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Comb/brush.
