Boys State Applications Available
Nevada Boys State is a practical experience that teaches young men about state government and how to become better leaders. The tentative dates of this camp are June 10-16 on the UNR campus. The qualifications for applying include:
- Must have successfully complete your junior year of high school and have at least one semester of high school remaining
- Must display outstanding qualities of leadership, character, scholarship, loyalty and service to their school
Applications are available at www.nevadaboysstate.org. The deadline to apply is March 12, 2012. Space fills up fast, so the sooner you apply the better chance you have of being selected. If there are questions, see Ms. McClintock or contact her at 775-336-6027 or cathy.mcclintock@bishopmanogue.org
