Manogue Thespians to Compete at State Festival
Junior Ashley Laughlin and Senior Charlie Manoukian competed in the regional Thespian Festival on February 4 and received scores high enough to qualify them to compete at the state Thespian Festival in Las Vegas, March 22- 24.
Ashley qualified in the individual event: Solo Musical Theater and qualified with a score of “Excellent.” She performed the song “Much More” from the show The Fantasicks.
Ashley and Charlie qualified in the event: Duet Musical theater with a score of “Superior”, the highest ranking possible. They performed “Two of a Kind” from the show Wild Party.
