School picture Make-up Day
Is scheduled for Thursday, September 27. This is the last opportunity for students to have their pictures taken for the yearbook.

The Parents’ Association annual Green and Gold Fundraiser is happening Sept. 29. Don’t miss this truly fun fundraiser, held right here on campus in a casual and relaxed setting. BONUS this year—buy a ticket, get one parent service hour…just think a service hour for having fun with your friends! What could be better?

Elementary and middle school students, and their families, are invited to a pre-game BBQ THIS EVENING Sept.14, when the Miners will be taking on the Reed Raiders. The Torch Run Program benefiting Special Olympics Nevada athletes needs participants or volunteers. A group of volunteers is also charged with color bombing the participants. If interested in participating or volunteering contact Melva at melva@sonv.org or 877-417-2742 ext. 201. Sept. 20 and 21st need 14 volunteers. The event on Sat. Sept. 22 can use up to 120 mostly color bombers.

There will be a student/parent informational session with representatives from Georgetown, Duke, Harvard, Penn and Stanford. Exploring College Options will host this informational session on Sunday, September 30th at 7:30 pm at the Holiday Inn at 55 East Nugget Avenue in Sparks, NV.
