Due to a glitch in the Mybackpack system, the “Student Schedule” displays the incorrect periods during a 4-day week. This will only affect the weeks of 10/22, 11/12, 1/21, and 2/18. Please refer to the student planner for the correct schedule. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Grandparent’s Day
Students! We are holding our first-ever Bishop Manogue Grandparents Day celebration THIS Sunday, Sept. 9 and we need YOUR help so that all of your awesome grandmas and grandpas get the message. This week in first period, teacher will have special invitations available for you to share with your grandparents, near or far. Please pass them on to all the grandparents in your life so we can show them how much we appreciate them being part of our Manogue Family!
School picture Make-up Day
Is scheduled for Thursday, September 27. This is the last opportunity for students to have their pictures taken for the yearbook.
Remember: the Parking Lot is off limits during school hours!!
Students have all been issued school lockers. DO NOT use your car as your locker as the parking lot is off limits during school hours. You may NOT go to your car for a forgotten binder, book or assignments or to get lunch or break money or food!! All these items should be brought into school in the morning and placed in your school locker.

The Parents’ Association annual Green and Gold Fundraiser is happening Sept. 29. Don’t miss this truly fun fundraiser, held right here on campus in a casual and relaxed setting. BONUS this year—buy a ticket, get one parent service hour…just think a service hour for having fun with your friends! What could be better?

CALLING ALL FUTURE MINERS!!
Elementary and middle school students, and their families, are invited to a pre-game BBQ on Sept.14, when the Miners will be taking on the Reed Raiders. Dinner will be served at 5:30, kickoff is at 7 pm. Dinner and game admission are free…please RSVP to JoAnn Bryant at 775-336-6016 or joann.bryant@bishopmanogue.org.
FROM CAMPUS MINISTRY:
The Torch Run Program benefiting Special Olympics Nevada athletes needs participants or volunteers. A group of volunteers is also charged with color bombing the participants. If interested in participating or volunteering contact Melva at melva@sonv.org or 877-417-2742 ext. 201. Sept. 20 and 21st need 14 volunteers. The event on Sat. Sept. 22 can use up to 120 mostly color bombers.

Exploring College Options will host this informational session on Sunday, September 30th at 7:30 pm at the Holiday Inn at 55 East Nugget Avenue in Sparks, NV.
