THIS Week is Catholic Schools Week!!
Winter Blood Drive is Thursday, February 5th – 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Sign-ups and permission slips are in the Leadership Room B 217. Since so many of our students are participating in fall sports, we have a pretty small pool for this drive—in other words, we need YOUR blood, too. You can donate anytime between 8 am and 1 pm, and grownups will go straight to the front of the line!
Blood Drive is open to Students, Parents, Faculty, & Staff. Make sure you eat a good meal before you donate and you are well hydrated. Permission Slips are required for all students over 16 & under 18.

International Student Spring Gathering
Attention, students, host families, and guardians, please check your email for an eVite invitation to the Bishop Manogue’s International/Exchange Student – Host Family Spring Gathering at the Orachorn residence on Saturday, Feb 21. We welcome each household to bring your favorite dish, snack, or drink to share. In the spirit of Chinese New Year, we also invite you to dress in festive attire or traditional clothing of your country/region! Please RSVP by Thursday, Feb 19, and indicate the number of guests. 2015 Senior Formal Portraits Are Now Ready for Ordering

Juniors:
Bishop Manogue has reserved 25 spots for JUNIORS to visit the UNR campus on Friday, March 6. This full day campus visit lasts from 9:30am until 3:30pm. You will need to arrange your own transportation to the campus and check-in with Ms. McClintock upon arrival. The sign-up sheet is on Mrs. Welmerink’s door and is first-come, first-served.

Freshmen and Senior Service
Spend time in the outdoors doing some gathering
Reno Gleaning Project needs volunteers to pick ripe fruit from local homeowner’s trees, and the fruit is then donated to St. Vincent’s or other local charities. The contact person is Pamela Mayne 775.813.6284. Help make the fruits of your labor into someone’s meal.
Juniors and Seniors:
Little Flower School would LOVE to have Manogue student help with the tutoring program. The tutoring begins today, Tuesday, January 13th and will be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Students can email Kathie Russell at Krussell@littleflowerschoolnv.org for more information.
360 Blueprint – Service opportunity for our students
A collaboration effort of the Reno Police Department, Washoe County School District, and Local Community Churches, 360 Blueprint is a mentoring program with two theme components, reading and relationships. The age group our program works with are children from first to sixth grade. Our program uses different techniques to teach the children how to read using kindles, and fun reading games. We ask for one hour a week as a requirement but would like it if two hours could be completed. If you want to make a difference in a local student’s life then contact 360blueprint.org and in the top right hand corner is a volunteer application button.
