Launches “Win a BMW!” Contest
BMCHS raising funds to provide aid for financial need students
Reno, Nev. (June 13, 2016)—Bishop Manogue Catholic High School (BMCHS) has officially launched the “Win a BMW!” contest to the community at large, first unveiling the car and contest at the Annual B.A.S.H Fundraiser where attendees got first dibs to buy tickets. A limited number of 2,500 tickets will be sold from now until December.
“We wanted to open the contest up to our community to give everyone a chance to participate. Our graduates go on to do great things in our region and we want to give everyone the opportunity to be a part of helping these deserving students achieve great things” says President Jack Trainor. “We not only serve the community year round but the graduates of Bishop Manogue continue to impact the Northern Nevada region and beyond.”
All funds raised from the “Win a BMW!” contest will benefit Tuition Assistance, ensuring students and families with financial need can make attending Bishop Manogue a reality. “What many in the community may not realize is that 3 in 5 students at Bishop Manogue receive some type of financial assistance to attend. We fundraise throughout the year to ensure the brightest minds in our region have an opportunity for a faith-based, college-preparatory education,” adds Trainor.
The brand new, silver BMW 3 Series, has been contributed in partnership between Bill Pearce BMW and a few generous donors in the community. “We are grateful for our valued community partners and donors who make our vision a reality,” remarks Trainor.
Tickets on sale now through December 15th, 2016 with the winner announced at Bishop Manogue’s annual Living Nativity event. Tickets are available for sale in the Bishop Manogue front office, the winner does not need to be present to win. For questions, please call 775-336-6000.
