Bishop Manogue Catholic High School
Educating Through Faith, Leadership, Knowledge and Compassion
“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,
and whose sins you retain are retained.'”

Foreign Exchange Programs
Bishop Manogue had a female student from Germany who was not going to be able to attend next year because we did not have a host family. Bonnie Hansen, BMCHS staff member, has graciously agreed and our student will be able to attend BMCHS next year.
However, this won’t be Bonnie’s first time hosting a foreign student.
“I became a host family because I have never traveled abroad so I thought I would bring the abroad to me,”
she said.
“Our first year we hosted a boy from Denmark and a boy from Indonesia, our family had such a great experience, since that time over the last 15 years we have hosted hundreds of students from around the world. I now consider these students family; and now I have an expanded family worldwide.”
We still need host families to continue our program at BMCHS, if you are able to open your home and expand your family, please contact
Katie.hurst@bishopmanogue.org.
I
n addition,
