Parent help needed for Debate Tournament

Bishop Manogue is co-hosting the Speech and Debate Tournament with Galena and Damonte Ranch High Schools on Friday and Saturday, January 27 and 28th.  The tournament will be held at Galena High School.  We are in need of volunteers to judge the rounds, help with the snack bar as well as donations for the snack bar.  This is a wonderful opportunity to get some service hours and help raise money for the Manogue Speech and Debate team.  Please click on the links below if you are able to help.  Please contact Belia Cherry at 775.232.4355 or Eugenia Marin at 775.338.5030 if you have any questions. All non-perishable items must be dropped off in the Bishop Manogue office no later than 2 pm, Wed, Jan 25.  There are two remaining Judge training sessions if you would like to attend one.  Training is not necessary in order to sign up to judge a round.
The judge training dates are:
Wednesday January 25th, 6pm-7pm – Bishop Manogue High School
Thursday, January 26th, 5:30pm-6:30pm – Damonte Ranch High School

From the Counseling Office:

Seniors:

If a colleges has requested that you send a mid-year report with your application, please request this through your Common App account or see Ms. Gamble. ONLY request a mid-year transcript if a college requests one. Not all applications will require a transcript at this time.

Juniors:

You have all met with your counselor to discuss your graduation review.  If you have not already done so, please turn the form back in to Ms. McClintock with a parent signature.  If you need another form, come by the counseling office.

From Campus Ministry:

Our Lady of the Snows Nursery- Volunteer Opportunities:
January 29th
February 5th and 12th
April 9th and 23rd
May 7th and 14th

Volunteers would be responsible for providing supervision for children ages 6 months to 5 years of age during the 9:30 mass. An OLS Young Adult Minister will always be present as well and all toys/materials are provided.  Volunteers are simply needed to ensure we maintain a 1:4 adult to child ratio. We ask that volunteers come 15 minutes prior and stay 15 minutes after mass has ended for drop off and pick up.
Those interested in volunteering can sign up online at:
http://olsparish.com/nursery-volunteer-sign-up.
