Juniors – Harvard Prize Book
Applications for the Harvard Prize Book are now available. The Harvard Prize Book is awarded in the spring to exceptional members of the junior class throughout the world. This is a prestigious award. The Prize Book award indicates to college admission committees that recipients are viewed by local alumni as remarkable. Eligible students must be current juniors with a 3.75 unweighted GPA with a minimum of 6 honors and/or AP classes. Application deadline is March 17. Students should download the application from the Bishop Manogue website or see Mrs. Welmerink.
Sophomores & Juniors – Renown Summer Volunteer program
Applications for the 2017 Renown High School Summer Volunteer Program are now available! This program is for sophomores and juniors who are interested in learning more about the medical field. Students will be asked to completed 50 volunteer hours. Interested students should pick up an application from Mrs. Welmerink. The application deadline is March 17.
Nevada Boys & Girls State Applications for Juniors
Applications for Nevada Boys’ State and Nevada Girls’ State are now available! These interactive week-long programs allow students to participate in a mock government to better understand how our republic works at both the state and national levels. Smallwood Multimedia Boot Camp for Juniors
The Smallwood Multimedia Boot Camp is looking for juniors interested in learning more about multimedia technologies. This two week camp will be held at UNR in June. If you are interested in applying, see Mrs. McClintock.

Seniors:
If a colleges has requested that you send a mid-year report with your application, please request this through your Common App account or see Ms. Gamble. ONLY request a mid-year transcript if a college requests one. Not all applications will require a transcript at this time.
Juniors:
You have all met with your counselor to discuss your graduation review in October. If you have not already done so, please turn the form back in to Ms. McClintock with a parent signature. Failing to do so, will prevent you from registering for your classes next year.
From Campus Ministry:
Quest 45 and Kairos 52 Registrations are now open!
Quest forms are due by February 20 and Kairos forms are due by March 6. The last two retreats sold out so, REGISTER TODAY. If you have any questions, please stop by the Campus Ministry office.
Our Lady of the Snows Nursery- Volunteer Opportunities:
April 9th and 23rd
May 7th and 14th
Volunteers would be responsible for providing supervision for children ages 6 months to 5 years of age during the 9:30 mass. An OLS Young Adult Minister will always be present as well and all toys/materials are provided. Volunteers are simply needed to ensure we maintain a 1:4 adult to child ratio. We ask that volunteers come 15 minutes prior and stay 15 minutes after mass has ended for drop off and pick up.

Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteers needed for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada Gala on April 8th.
We are looking for 10-16 students from 2:00 – 5:00 to help set up tables for the Gala. Please see email for contact and more information: torreycrawford@hotmail.com.
Please Remember: the Parking Lot is off limits during school hours!!
Students have all been issued school lockers. PLEASE DO NOT use your car as your locker as the parking lot is off limits during school hours. You may NOT go to your car for a forgotten binder, book or assignments or to get lunch or break money or food!! All these items should be brought into school in the morning and placed in your school locker. The Office will NO LONGER issue passes to the Parking Lot during school hours.
Do you know we have a Lost & Found?
We have several items that have been found around campus in the Front Office. Have you lost a piece of jewelry? Glasses? Calculator? Etc. It may be here. Please ask and we will see if we have it.

**Please remember, Manogue Activities passes and Washoe County School District passes are not valid for admission during NIAA-sponsored Regional and State Events. Student should be prepared to show their school IDs. Admission prices for all regional game are:
$10 Adults
$5 Students
$3 Seniors (62 and over)

Swim and Dive Team information

Boys Lacrosse – Information
Boys Lacrosse players and potential players:
Practices for the next two weeks will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7-8:30 PM in the small gym. Winter athletes don’t need to attend until their Winter sport commitments are over.
Track and Field Meeting
There will be a Track and Field Parent Meeting on Feb. 28, 5:30 pm in the Student Community Center. Athletes are welcome as well.
