From the Counseling Office:

The College Counseling office will begin using the text messaging to communicate with junior and senior families regarding the college admissions process. Announcements may be sent regarding college visits, SAT/ACT registration dates, application reminders, and other deadlines. This system is the same one that Bishop Manogue currently uses to communicate announcements, schedule changes and other events with families. Parents of juniors and seniors will automatically receive these texts. If a parent does not wish to receive these texts or a student wishes to be added to this announcement list, please email Mrs. Welmerink at diana.welmerink@bishopmanogue.org with the name and the phone number to be added/dropped from the contact list.

Upcoming College Visits:

Friday, October 20: University of Puget Sound, second lunch
Monday, October 23: Northwestern University, second lunch

College representatives will be visiting Bishop Manogue this fall to speak with our students. Please consider coming to these presentations if you are interested in the school or if you don’t know anything about the school and want to learn!  If a student is in class during a presentation, the teacher must excuse the student in advance. Passes may be picked up from the counseling office. Complete passes with teacher signature must be turned in at least one day before the college presentation. Keep in mind that fall break is coming up!

Seniors

If you have invited Ms. McClintock to Common App as your recommender, you MUST provide your resume and brag sheet reflection questions to Ms. McClintock as well or you will not be getting an adequate letter of recommendation to accompany your application.
