We are on a Four Day Week Schedule
Today’s Schedule is Periods 1 – 4.
No school on Friday, November 10th – Veteran’s Day observation.
Josten’s Class Jewelry Delivery
Jostens will be set up by the Chapel, Monday, November 13th, during lunch, delivering class jewelry. Jostens will also accept class rings and graduation orders at this time.
Newmont Mines Career Day
Newmont Mines is coming to Bishop Manogue! Join us November 13th from 8:45 – 2:15 in the small gym for a mini career day to learn about opportunities in mining and engineering fields! Talk to Newmont representatives about careers in engineering/operations, environmental, geology, metallurgy, health & safety, and more! Book of Remembrance
The entire month of November Masses will be dedicated for praying for our beloved dead. There is a special book at the chapel so you can write the names of your departed loved ones.
Senior Parents
It’s Yearbook Senior Tribute time! Click here or come to the office for information on how to submit your tribute. If you have questions or problems, email jackie.cavilia@bishopmanogue.org. Tributes are due Friday, Dec. 15.

Remember: the Parking Lot is off limits during school hours!!
Students have all been issued school lockers. PLEASE DO NOT use your car as your locker as the parking lot is off limits during school hours. You may NOT go to your car for a forgotten binder, book or assignments or to get lunch or break money or food!! All these items should be brought into school in the morning and placed in your school locker. The Office will NO LONGER issue passes to the Parking Lot during school hours.

UNR BS-MD Program
The UNR BS-MD Program will hold an Information Session for interested students on Tuesday, November 14 from 5:30-7:30 on the UNR campus. This accelerated, highly selective program allows students to complete their undergraduate and medical degrees in seven years. Attention Sophomores:
If you are interested in attending a leadership conference in June, please see Ms. McClintock for details. There can only be one sophomore representative selected, so pick up an application and don’t delay
Seniors
If you have invited Ms. McClintock to Common App as your recommender, you MUST provide your resume and brag sheet reflection questions to Ms. McClintock as well or you will not be getting an adequate letter of recommendation to accompany your application.

Students who wish to be excused from class must request a pass from the Counseling Office at least one day before the presentation to be signed by their teacher.

Quest 47
Quest 47 leader applications for December 3-4 retreat are due October 10-18. Pick one up in the counseling office. Quest 47 registration forms are available outside the attendance window or in the counseling office.
Kairos 54
Registration for Kairos 54 is now open. Forms are available outside the attendance window and in the counseling office. Space is limited so register today. Kairos 54 dates are January 28th – 30th.
Do you know we have a Lost & Found?
We have several items that have been found around campus in the Front Office. Have you lost a piece of jewelry? Glasses? Calculator? Etc. It may be here. Please ask and we will see if we have it.

Athletics:
Girls Basketball Open Gym
Girls’ basketball open gym has begun. It will continue on Monday and Wednesday evenings 5:30-7:00 in the big gym until Wednesday, November 8th. Tryouts are Nov. 11 at 8 am and Nov 13 and 14 at 3:15 pm
Boys Basketball Open Gym
Boys Basketball open gyms have started! Open gyms will continue on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7 – 9 pm in the big gym until Wednesday, Nov. 8th. Tryouts are Nov. 11, 12:30 to 3:30 pm and 6:30 to 8:30 pm & Nov. 13 and 14: 7 to 9 pm.
Pre-Season Ski Training
Begins November 13 thru December 21. Mondays and Tuesdays: 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm, Thursdays: 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
