Counseling

Bishop Manogue Counselors seek to reflect God by serving students in the pursuit of excellence in their high school, college, academic, and personal development. We also recognize the college application process can be a confusing and challenging time for high school students.

At Bishop Manogue, counselors take a personalized approach, meeting individually with each student and family throughout the four years. Each student is paired with a counselor who will follow this student from admission through graduation. This partnership enables our counselors to better understand the talents and needs of our students.

Our college counseling program has milestones for each student that promote planning and preparation for college admissions. We encourage parental involvement in the college planning process, and, to that end, we utilize Family Connection, a software tool that allows both students and parents to collaborate on college selection, test preparation and financial planning. Our effort is to make the college selection process an enriching time to learn more about our students’ goals and strengths. We encourage students to be engaged actively in their college searches, reflect carefully about their goals and aspirations, and make wise, informed decisions.

Our personal counseling program provides our students with emotional and academic support to help them reach their personal goals.

We believe all students can succeed and we support the pursuit of their goals by:

  • Discovering purpose
  • Encouraging self-actualization
  • Promoting balance
  • Teaching advocacy
