Bishop Manogue Catholic High School girls tennis has a strong tradition of competing at a high level in the classroom, the community, and on the tennis courts. We are proud of the incredible student-athletes, parents, coaches, faculty and facilities that help to make the program a success.
The girls tennis program is in a building phase since Coach Lauren Evans took over as head coach in 2015. That year, the Miners went from finishing 6th in their division to finishing 3rd. They also took three girls to the State Championships in Las Vegas. The girls team is motivated to build on their success going forward. Through poise, courage, and competitive greatness, they will not take one day for granted in their quest to win their division and ultimately become a powerhouse in these state. They know it will take time to build on the legacy of the 1974 – 1979 Manogue teams who won six consecutive State Championships, but they are determined to be a part of a program that will create a legacy of its own.
Bishop Manogue girls tennis has won the NIAA All-State Academic Championship in three of the past four years. They most recently won the award in the 2015 season.
Girls tennis training is 10:30 am to 12 pm on Tuesday and Friday, occurring during the tennis summer camp.
Meet at the BMCHS High School Tennis Courts.
