Scholarship Value – Up to $1,500, non-renewable (sophomore, junior, senior)

This scholarship honors the memory of Bruno Menicucci, former teacher, and coach at BMCHS and his wife, Anna Menicucci, a Manogue Alumni from the Class of 1955. The friendships they forged at Bishop Manogue lasted throughout their lifetimes. Anna and Bruno were devout Catholics and lived their lives committed to faith, family, and community. Both believed in the power of a well-rounded education and instilled that belief in the children and grandchildren. This scholarship will be awarded to the student who can demonstrate those same values of education, faith, family, and community.

All candidates must meet the following Bishop Manogue requirements for scholarship eligibility:

  1. Have acceptable standards of behavior as set in the Bishop Manogue Parent/Student Handbook.
  2. Be current with Bishop Manogue Christian Service Hour requirements.

Specific requirements for this scholarship are:

  1. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  2. Has characteristics of Bruno and Anna Menicucci.

For returning students – if at any time during the award year the student does not maintain acceptable standards of behavior as set in the Bishop Manogue Parent/Student Handbook and/or a minimum GPA of 3.0, this scholarship can be withdrawn.

In the event the scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior, the recipient must submit proof of enrollment prior to funds being disbursed. Funds will be sent directly to the Financial Aid office of the school the recipient attends and will be disbursed in two halves, one at the beginning of each semester. A minimum GPA of 3.0 must also be maintained.
