Carpool Sign-Up

Families interested in participating in carpooling are encouraged to fill out this form by August 1st. We will gather all the information and distribute a comprehensive carpool list sorted by location to all participants.
 

2024 Laptop Requirements

Beginning Fall 2024, Macbooks, iPads/Tablets, and Chromebooks will not be acceptable devices for incoming students. New software requirements, as well as the movement towards total online standardized and AP testing require Windows laptops.

Existing students currently using a Macbook, iPad/Tablet, or Chromebook for school will continue to be supported. If you are an existing student and need to replace your device, it must adhere to the new standards set in this LINK.

Opt-in for Emergency Communications

 
ALL current students and parents/guardians must have a wireless phone number properly input into Blackbaud so this communication platform can work to the best of its ability. Follow the steps below to ensure your wireless phone number is added to your Blackbaud account. If your mobile number is already listed in Blackbaud, you do not need to make any changes. 
  • Login to Blackbaud
  • Click on your name in the top right corner  
  • From the dropdown, select “Profile”  
  • In the “phone” section of your Contact Card, select “add phone”  
  • Select “Wireless” under “phone type”  
  • “Add New Phone” and provide your WIRELESS phone number including the area code  
  • Save changes

Attention Class of 2025

CLASS OF 2025: Attention Incoming Seniors! In compliance with Nevada state law, all students entering the 12th grade must be up-to-date on their Meningococcal vaccine. Students must receive at least one dose of the quadrivalent meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4) on or after age 16. Immunization records can be found on Nevada WebIZ.
 
Students not up-to-date on their vaccines prior to the start of school will be excluded until proof of vaccine can be provided. Please submit proof of vaccination to Mary Ann Michels, Registrar if you have not already done so.

Parent Volunteer Reminder

If you are an active volunteer at BMCHS your account must be kept compliant even during the summer months. Check your VIRTUS account regularly to ensure compliance, especially regarding bulletins. Volunteers are required to complete 24 bulletins every two years or monthly and training and background check is every 5 years.  All volunteers at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, volunteers must meet criteria set by the Diocese of Reno.  Please visit your Parent Resource Board to access Background Verification, Drivers License Verification, and Virtus Online information.

We appreciate the partnership we have with parent support. At Bishop Manogue Catholic High School each family is responsible for completing 20 hours of service to the school each year or pay a service hour fee of $500.  Families who do not complete their required 20 hours are assessed $25 per hour for every hour not fulfilled.  Parent Service hours are billed in May. For additional information on this requirement please refer to page 51 of the Parent/Student Handbook which can be located in the "Quick Links" on the upper right corner of the website.
